Hello All!

My name is Kat and I would like to welcome you all to my new blog called kattails! As a full time student and part time blogger, my hope in creating kattails is to share my passion for nature, sustainability, and travel with the world. As an ecologist in training, I hope to be able to write about new scientific findings and occurrences in a manner in which the average person can understand; because what good is our research if only a small percent of the human population can understand it? It is important to note though that kattails is NOT a political forum in which we will point fingers at people for what is going on in the world; but rather a place in which we can understand and learn about how we can make a difference, and applaud those who do in our communities. So with all this being said let the adventure begin!
